There are four major directions to develop the environmentally friendly packaging in the packaging industry. Direction 1: paper tube packaging making by certified paper-like material and it is designed for reducing the plastic. Direction 2: Using sugarcane tube can reduce carbon emission. We can replace the oil-based plastic to green PE, which can reduce CO2 emission effectively. Direction 3: Carbon black free tube packaging which can be recognised by the optical machines installed in waste sorting factories. It makes the packaging waste become more easy for recycling. Direction 4: Biodegradable tube has the great potential for development due to its biodegradable material.
