The 5-layer PE tubes are with EVOH while the 2-layer tubes are only PE. The reason why we want to share this is to help the clients know which material may more suitable for their formula( suggest making formula test before ordering a new product).

See below 2-layer tube structure. Both of the 2 layers are made of PE material.
But for the 5-layer tube, there will be an EVOH layer in the middle. The EVOH could bring the better barrier function to the plastic squeeze tube.
