Now Auber Packaging can make 100% PCR tubes and 30% PCR tubes, but what is the difference between them? It is time for you to catch up so we all know the eco benefits of using recycled plastic in your packaging. So first of all, from the appearance we can see this is a 30% PCR in a white tube and this 100% PCR is a bit like an off-white color. Then we can feel their softness, 100% PCR tube a bit harder.
30% PCR, or post-consumer recycled plastic, is the product of reclaiming and reprocessing the plastic that would otherwise end up in landfills or our oceans. On the other hand, 100% PCR refers to a tube made completely from recycled plastic. It is essentially the same process as 30% PCR except the end product is 100% PCR content. This helps ensure that the cosmetic tube has a smaller environmental impact, as no new plastic was used in its production. Additionally, it allows for better traceability and complete sustainability in the entire product line.
